None of this starts finished. It is sketched, built, tested and rebuilt.
A one-minute moving-image piece with its own soundtrack, made in a small group during my exchange semester. It follows a student through Building 3 at UTS during assessment week: from a creative slump at the desk, out into the building for inspiration, and back to a submission that arrives too late.
Warm light and close shots are inspired by Whiplash (2014), split screens and slicing by Daniel Cook’s Static No. 12 (2010). A jazz-style track mixed with pen clicks and typing follows the rise and fall of the stress.
