My name is Max Tinh Stauss and I am a Creative Technologist working at the intersection of design, code, and emerging technology.

My focus is on the moments where a new technology stops being abstract and becomes something you can actually experience.

I studied Interaction Design in Germany, with an exchange semester at the University of Technology Sydney, and gained industry experience embedded in BMW Group's innovation and design teams across Munich and Silicon Valley, building experimental prototypes and interactive systems. One of these, a mixed reality application for planning BMW's stand at CES 2025, was developed for the world premiere of the BMW Panoramic iDrive and presented at the executive level.

My ongoing project, Klangraum, explores what happens when music is no longer a fixed artifact. I'm developing a context-aware system for real-time generative music that responds to interaction and environment, treating AI not as a tool for automation but as a medium for dynamic, living experience.

I'm drawn to problems that sit at the edge of what interfaces can be: spatial, generative, adaptive. My work is about making that edge feel real.
