MIDI_SLIDER

MIDI-Controller (music)
Music is a wonderful way to express creativity and emotions. However, playing notes using conventional MIDI controllers can be challenging, especially for those who cannot play a musical instrument.

FUNCTION

The Midi-Slider provides a way to play notes in the C/D/E/F/G/A/B tonal range. To improve the user experience, it clearly differentiates between playing a single note and a chord. Seamlessly switch between chords, single notes, and arpeggios. The Midi-Slider combines responsive touchpads with a simple sound control knob for an effortlessly engaging musical experience.

PROTOTYPING

The Capacitive Touch Sensor from Adafruit can send MIDI signals to a Digital Audio Workstation (DAW) by tracking the status (touched or not touched) of its touchpads. The layout of the pads allows the user to play a note by tapping a pad or a chord by placing their hand over the pads.
